Terms of service

Last updated 31 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Buy Dream Web (“we”, “us”), which runs ScaleMeal. They apply when you create a ScaleMeal account or use the service to run a store. If you sign up for a business, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it.

1. The service

ScaleMeal lets restaurants, cafés and home kitchens take orders on their own website and app, at the table and at the counter, and manage those orders, their menu, loyalty and promotions. What each plan includes is shown on our pricing page and in your dashboard.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • Keep your password and sign-in codes private. You're responsible for what happens in your account, including what staff you invite do.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has got into your account.

3. Plans, trials and payment

  • Plans are billed monthly or yearly, at the prices shown when you subscribe. We never take a commission on your orders.
  • If a free trial is offered when you sign up, your store can take orders during the trial. To keep it running afterwards, choose a plan and pay its invoice.
  • Invoices are paid by the methods shown on the invoice. If an invoice isn't paid by its due date, your store may be paused and show “Opening soon” to customers until it is.
  • Discount codes apply as described when you use them, and can't be exchanged for cash.
  • Publishing your own app on the App Store and Google Play (Pro and Growth) may carry a one-time fee, shown before you order it.
  • Prices don't include taxes unless they say so. We may change prices for future billing periods, and we'll tell you in advance.
  • Payments already made aren't refunded, except where the law requires it or we agree otherwise.

4. Your store and your orders

You are the seller. Sales on your store are between you and your customers: ScaleMeal isn't a party to them. You are responsible for your menu, prices, allergen and food information, food safety, licences and permits, taxes, deliveries, refunds and customer service, and for following the laws that apply to your business, including consumer and privacy laws for your customers. Customers pay you directly; we don't hold or handle money from your orders.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you add: your name, logo, photos, menu and other content. You give us permission to host, copy, resize and display it as needed to run your store, apps and listings, and to show your store as an example of ScaleMeal unless you ask us not to. You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload. Menus and logos produced with our automatic tools are yours to check and correct.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use ScaleMeal to:

  • sell anything illegal, or anything you're not licensed to sell;
  • mislead customers, send spam, or collect information you have no right to;
  • upload content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is hateful, abusive or harmful;
  • break, overload, probe or get around the security of the service, or copy it to build a competing product.

We may remove content or suspend a store that breaks these rules, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

7. Domains and apps

If you connect your own domain, you're responsible for registering and renewing it and for its DNS settings. Apps on the App Store and Google Play are also subject to Apple's and Google's rules and review, which we don't control.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep ScaleMeal running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or retire features; if a change takes away something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance.

9. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time by contacting us. Your store stays online until the end of the period you've paid for. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or isn't paid. Before your store data is deleted, you can ask us for a copy of your menu and orders.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost orders or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and disputes go to the courts of Pakistan, unless the law where you are says otherwise.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the dashboard before they apply. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
